Life-size torso, cast gypsum, resin steel, Ram horns
For ARTSCAPE nearly sold out in the first two weeks, setting a gallery record in sales. A reviewer from The Long Beach PRESS TELEGRAM summed up the show:"Emulating prurient aspects of Gothic sexuality, these torsos are skillfully executed replicas of the male anatomy that evoke the same smoldering eroticism found in Harlequin novels."
Some of the "Medieval" work will be featured in a British film recently shot in Los Angeles entitled, "Je m'applelle Crawford." It's release from Warner Bros. is scheduled for next year. Also from this showing, Hitchcock was selected to be the subject of a documentary by Rome's RAI-TV to air in Italy later this year. His next show is to be hosted by HIGHWAYS and opens in August.
